I think Nordic Track had one back in the day. If you like your treadmill, you can keep it.
swamptiger
But I think there are probably some good ones out there without motors, if you look. A short search turned up several non-motorized models. It looks like the sky is the limit as far as price goes. Found a couple non-motorized models that sell for over $5k.
DrJuice1980
There's no good treadmill swamp, the idea is straight garbage. Only a money maker. Snake oil of the fitness industry, there's a LOT of snake oil. Just throw a ripped body or 2 on the package and away they sell. swamptiger
The whole fitness industry, and especially fitness machines, are kind of a scam, if you ask me, but to each his own...
swamptiger
I wouldn't go as far as to say riding a bicycle, for example, is bad for your health, however. There are some budget priced machines out there that really don't look too bad. I ran across this one.. These come without a seat or a steering wheel, and work reasonably well for the guy who has lost his rear and doesn't know which way to turn. DrJuice1980
No, not each his own. You're a human, so am I. Let's not forget that. Let's also not forget we have hamstrings that need to work for us, if not then your knees will damage.
