math teacher
Planning to change out my lead core line to Suffix 832. Wondering what people are using for walleye trolling the 12 pound or 18? I have the Daiwa 47s. Thanks for any input.
bobberineyes
I use the smallest 832 available, believe it's 6 pound. I have it strung on most of my reals, jigging, rigging, casting and trolling. Matched with st.croix rods the feeling is tough to beat. walleyeking19
Everyone I know uses the 18 lbs stuff. Thats whats pretty standard from what I've seen.
kfk
There's a good reason for using 18 lb. 832 and that's because it has the same amount of lead in it as heavier test leadcore. 12 lb. 832 has less lead in it than 18 lb. test. The same holds true for traditional leadcore.
