Ice Rod Handles

Recommended Posts

I've got a handful of 32" St Croix MH 32" blanks that I want to setup for Lakers and Large Walleyes. I normally use stock handles for medium medium light rods but looking for something like an 8" Tennessee handle but can't find them anywhere. I've got a half dozen Thorne bro rods that have those handles but it appears that TB makes there own. Anyone know of something comparable for a build like this? I'm open to spinning or casting, probably make some of both if I can find the right stuff.

Would appreciate the advise of you vets out there!

Would like cork but open to options. I'm not a big fan of the Eva stuff. I think 8" is enough to get a good grip for the fight. Sensitivity isn't really a big deal, when they hit you know it. Biggest thing is a big enough handle even with gloves on. Wood might me too slippery. I don't have a lathe so I'm stuck with stuff you can buy completed.
