chasineyes
I'm contimplating putting in a garage heater. My main question is can a plumber "tap" into the furnace or water heater line instead of running a line from the main supply? My mechanical room is 20 feet from where I want to put the heater. Other than that it's 60+ feel away if they have to go the other route.THanks!
Todd S.
That is how mine is done. Furnace, hot water heater, and garage furnace all coming from a manifold near the furnace.

MNice
It depends on the size of the line, low or high pressure. Too many variables to answer positively.
chasineyes
Does anyone here know of a plumber who might be looking for a quick side job? I can run the lines and such, just need a pro to do the main hook up.
