What can I say - hmm , well Saturday was great weather and awesome Lake Trout fishing . If you were either bank fishing or trolling everyone hooked up. Cowbells and Ciscos 20 -35 fow around 2.5 m/h . Points with same depth had fishermen with lines ran out couple hundred feet. Barrel sinker split shot and Cisco with circle hook.

If this is something you would like to try this year or next spring please give us a call , we would be happy to hear from you

Here's a couple pictures from the weekend

Hi All

Had trouble learning the new forum ,

The Lakers are still being caught in the 20 to 40 fow . Lots of little norhterns in the 3-8 fow. A few walleyes in the 25 to 29 inch range have been picked up in the last week. I will have to work on the pictures yet

Robert,

Are the Lakers in deeper water just suspended around 20-40'? Heading up in 2 weeks and trying to game plan.

They are still in in 20 to 40 feet - most are on the bottom. In two weeks they should be moving to deeper water. (Its getting warm next week.)

We will test the picture thing (fingers crossed)

Have a good one

Hi All

Calm  & Hot weather -  hit Sabaskong late Tuesday afternoon for some Muskie/Walleye action . Hooked two skies that give the old head shake and spit the hook . Seen 6 nothing big but still muskies . Then moved over to a 18 foot reef to catch a few eyes for supper . Jig and minnow - Today being SO HOT we took the girls to Yellow Girl Bay - stopped at few reefs till we found one   Producing some eater walleyes -

On Whitefish Bay everyone is picking up lots of pike and smallies and a few large mouth too. There was a 44 inch pike C&R last weekend .

Did a short check of Ice - there was 5 inches beside my uncles house around the corner from camp - ( There was 4.5 December 24 - this was a area with no snow)

Where there is snow Less then 4 inches ice - Water on ice under Snow -

I am thinking ten days or more before safe travel on WhiteFish Bay

I will be checking again after the first

Stay Safe out there - crazy ice conditions
