MNHunter65
Good luck to you and your dog. Blasto is a very nasty thing to deal with and the road to recovery is long and expensive. I had kind of forgot about this thread. 3 months after Sams last test came back negative he was diagnosed with advanced cancer and passed within 2 weeks of the diagnosis. He battled through the whole blasto ordeal and then and then had something else take him out.
fivebucks
Also good luck with your dog. A good friend of mine lost his dog to blasto. They figured he got it up at the cabin on Vermillion as they had to have the septic system dug up and that disturbed the spores.

Today our dog is very lethargic and just wants to lay around, she is fussy with eating now. We are on the 4th week of the drug. Going to the vet again today to see whats going on. I hope there is not an underlying issue going on as well. Thank you for replying to my post. Any help of the process we are going through is a plus for us. Not knowing if its the side effect of the drug or the disease. Cindy

Kjpenfold
My dog tested positive a week ago but has been on Blasto meds for 15 days. We are going through many ups and downs and after several days of eating and drinking normally he now turns away from everything we try to feed him. Any advice on how you got your dogs to eat when they did not want anything.
