mainbutter
THAAAATS RIGHT! They won the opener against the Yankees! No, I'm not talking about the Twins. I'm talking about my OTHER team, my FIRST team, and my NL (wait a second?) team.. the ASTROS!That's right, the still-under-new-ish-management Houston Astros won their opener against the Yankees, and I'm pretty happy about that. Take a look at the new crew in the AL, and your 2016 World Series Champions.I don't know how I feel about them being in the AL. I like the dynamic that making pitchers swing a bat brings (remember when Roy Oswalt hit a home run??), and I miss the simplicity of having an AL team to root for the most and a NL team to root for the most. Can we get a little love for the underdogs and apparently the new Yankee-killers in the league? solbes
I heard on the radio today some furniture sales man dude will reimburse back any sales exceeding $6k+ if the Astros lose less than 100 games this season. You better get down there mainbutter and get some furniture. You're team is rising to the top. Shaver said he'd take that bet this morning on the HAMS.
mainbutter
bwahahaahahaha I'm on it right away It's a shame they didn't keep up the hot streak after the first series, but if they contribute to the yankees failing to make the postseason, I'll be a happy camper no matter what their W/L is this year. I just hope they make another 100mil to put in the bank for 2016, like last year.
