Bernie Keefe
This Lake Granby area report is brought to you by Fishing with Bernie. The rivers are opening up and fishing with small nymphs, eggs and worms is fantastic, small spinners and crank baits will work on the nicer afternoons, visibility will be the key. The pump canal, inter connecting channel and Shadow Mtn spillway are all fishing very well for Rainbows and Browns. Jigs, spawn sacs and small crank baits like a #5 Flicker shad are working excellent. The Kokanee at Wolford and Willow Creek are still sporadic but are being caught by the persistent fisher people. The lake trout in Granby and Williams Fork are biting well on small jigs(tubes, fuzzy grubs and Berkeley Gulp "Mantis Shrimp" ) tipped with sucker meat.
