AlaskaJedi
Time for an update on current fishing in Alaska. Winter is still upon us in most regions and ice fishing is still our main focus. Paul lives in Anchorage and has has been able to seek in a couple open water trip on the kenai for rainbows/dollies at the lake outlet bridge. Lots of good reports from the Valley and Interior on thick ice and quality fish. Even with unseasonal warmer temps this march, water remains locked up. Our article about set lining for burbout on the Tanana River is featured in this months issue of Alaska Sporting Journal. Check out the magazine and let us know what you think of the read. The entire crew will be together in Kotzebue next month for icing sheefish from the salt. Will have a full report posted here from the trip. Hope others are having tight lines and continue with lots of catching. Here is a sample of great looking fish have been caught by angelrs in Alaska this last couple weeks.
