HD Antenna

This is kind of a piggyback on the Roku/Apple TV discussion. We are looking at dropping cable in a few months and will be getting a HD antenna for the house, and then subscribing to Netflix. We live about 70 miles crow fly from the Shoreview station, so I'm assuming we'll also need a booster of some type. In a perfect world I'd like to put one in the attic, but do have a pole on the roof. If anyone has any recommendations or suggestions, I'd sure appreciate it.

You can go to antennaweb dot org, then put in your address and get some guidelines. The newer stuff should be color coded to match up with requirements.

At that distance elevation and a fairly unobstructed line of sight to the Shoreview antenna is everything. You can punch your address into that HSOforum and it might say you're OK, but if you live in a low spot or behind a hill it might not work as planned.
