Hoffer
Fished Jackfish last week from 9th to the 14th. Had some great days and some tough days. Hard to establish a pattern. The first day was all day drizzle and pea soup. Caught a 28 inch at dusk. The next day was quite nice. Partly sunny and 70s/ Caught a nice 30 inch walter mid evening. pic attached. Next day a storm front came in around 2. Pre storm caught at least 10 northerns over 10 pounds most in the 12 to 14 pound range. Next few days produced stable weather. But for some reason tougher fishing. The only thing I can think of is the wind direction was from the south to southeast...whereas the other days it was NW. Great weather overall, good to decent fishing. Very nice trip.
