fishnowworknever
Typical lob is 58* or 60* ( there are lobs that are 62, 64)Typical Gap is 50 or 52Wedges go in this order: pitching, gap (or approach), sand, lob
MUSKY18
Standard wedge sets usually run:Pitching Wedge: 48 degreesGap Wedge: 52 degreesSand Wedge: 56 degreesLob Wedge: 60 degressYou can find different lofts as indicated above for any of the wedges. But it not too often that you find someone with an odd wedge like a 64 (unless you are Phil Mickelson). Also pay attention to the bouce of the wedge as it is different with each club. Some may hold 10* of bounce and others may only hold 6* of bounce.
CJH
Instead of carrying a Sand and a Lob wedge, I use a 58 Sand wedge. I'm pretty happy with it, and wasn't too hard to get used to it.
