OnAFly
I replaced the catalytic converter in my truck a bit ago, and still had a code (can't remember what it was, P2270 maybe?). I switched the Downstream O2 sensors with each other and the code followed one of the sensors. I replaced that senor and now I'm getting a P0054 code saying I possibly have a break somewhere in the wiring.Anyone got a clue on this? Macgyver55
Try swapping them back and see what happens. If it doesnt follow the sensor again you know the harness is the problem. Could be a pin in the connector pushed out or bent over or maybe the harness is touching the exhaust and burned. Did you use an OEM sensor? OnAFly
Sensor is a Bosch. I was thinkkng the same thing about the swap. I'll have to give that a try tomorrow along with checking the wiring near the exhaust. I wonder if I forgot to put the zip tie back on and away from hot places.
