greebs
who will be the 1st person to be thrown under? I'm placing my money on "ploofy". Altho may be "hicksy" might be a little nervous and be a good candidate as well?

DonBo
Hicks sure looked like a boy among men yesterday. Can you say "not quite ready for major league pitching?"
B. Amish
or not quite ready for verlander?i think 99% of the league can say they're not ready for verlander on opening day... or any day.
Musky Buck
But Amish if you ever are ready it's opening day in the daylight when he's not throwing gas. Then again, why did they build the park facing the wrong direction ? All those shadows etc. ? Why'd they do that ? Because of the background that's right, but every baseball mind knows the stadium should be homeplate north third base straight south ? Musky Buck
Don't know who to toss under the bus but the 2 guys yesterday with the biggest hits I've never heard of an Escobar and Ramirez and Escobar's flyball was really poorly played, thanks for the sun issues there ! Musky Buck
Plouffe gone. The Hammer gone. Parmalee showing off his wheels. Twins winning series 1 with a walkoff hit in the mix creates a good team feeling, I like it.
ozzie
well if they wanted to take shadows out of the game they would have built a roof!! haha
greebs
hicksie it is! surprised it took this long but there you have it. sorry ploofy, I'm sure you will be singled out once hicksie is demoted.
nofishfisherman
Hicks wasn't really thrown under the bus. When you strikeout 94 times in the first week of the season and can't even put a ball in play its more like he tripped and rolled himself under the bus. You and I were probably the only ones who saw through Greebs actual intent in the thread.

When you strikeout 94 times in the first week of the season and can't even put a ball in play its more like he tripped and rolled himself under the bus. he's batted very poorly but he kind of was thrown under the bus. when the guy in charge calls a guy out to the press for doing something instead of talking to the guy himself that's throwing him under the bus. even more so when he gets called out to the press for doing something that another player (willy) on the team did and wasn't called out for.(for those that missed it, gardy got all tomato faced at an after game conference for him not running out a play and talked about how much he demands hustle on this team but said nothing about Willingham doing the same a couple games earlier)
