What ATV's are safe yet strong for teenagers to use on trails?

Your question is kind of vague, so I have a few of my own:

1) How old are the teenagers?

2) How big/tall are they?

3) What is their aptitude level with machines, any machines? Do they understand manual transmissions?

4) What type of trail riding do you do the most (technical, novice/beginner, intermediate)?

Knowing the above questions will give us a better idea of what size of machines to recommend.

There are so many machines out there of various sizes and price ranges it's too hard to give any specifics.

any atv will be strong enough. as far as safe, that relates to the operator, NOT the machine, only you can answer that one. a 325 cc machine will injure just as easily as a 700 or bigger machine when improperly operated.

If you put a teen in or on anything with a motor, it isn't safe.
