waterfowl101
Thinking of taking a trip to sd for eyes, perch and pike. Would late ice best best? Also is there a season for eyes and pike. Plan on going near waubay and brookings. Thanks
creepworm
There is no season for eyes or pike. Late ice would certainly be the best. Not only is the fishing generally much better but some of the snow will be melted off the lakes making travel conditions better on the ice. I was up on Waubay Saturday before the storm and travel was somewhat difficult then, before the 16 inches plus fell in the area.
