GSP4ME
Any one been up here lately. Going to try it tomorrow and wanted to to see if anyone had any thoughts on the lake at all. Never been out there but have heard some rumors lately so I thought I would give it a try in the morning
Sinker
Haven't been to Cedar for a few years. Water is turbid. I usually fished on the east shore. Walleyes seemed to like fatheads on plain red hooks when I fished it. Caught a few crappie and white bass here and there. Didn't really fish it enough to get to know it that well. I know the last time I was there that winter, there were newly built cribs on top of the ice, ready to go though when the ice went out. Good Luck. GSP4ME
any idea of the depth the fish cribs were going down in
Sinker
On the NE shore where I saw them, they were sitting around the base of the break in about 25'. It drops off not real far from shore.
fishin_spooge
Cedar is popping out some pretty nice gills and crappies, but walleyes tend to run small or in the slot.Find the shanty towns and you will find the cribs. Most popular are on SW end and NE ends of the lake.
trev07
Anyone been on Cedar lately? How is travel on the lake with all the snow? I will be in the area on Saturday and just wondering what I should bring with.
