I see that this event will be in Aurora MN at the end of June. Can anyone on this board give some feedback from previous Reinhart 100 events they have partaken in. The wife and I would be interested. How much time does it usually take to shoot 50 targets? Is it an all day event? Post some of your experiences from past shoots if you have attended. Thanks for your inputs.

I've shot the one in Sparta, WI the last three years. Have good friends that have shot it in Duluth the last two times it's been there.

We usually camp close by on Friday to get an early start Saturday. A tip here, it sometimes takes a while to register at the shoot. Register early on-line to avoid waiting, it's also cheaper.

Not sure how they will set up in Aurora, but at Sparta, they have 2-20 target courses and 2-30 target courses. (this varies a bit year to year) We've shot either 60 or 70 targets the first day so we could get out earlier on Sunday for the drive home. Saturday can be a long day, shooting that many targets. Maybe 10 hours? Again, this can vary.

It's a ton of fun. Most targets are reasonable hunting shot distances. Even the elephant, rhino, giraffe, cape buffalo, etc are usually no more than 40-50 yds. Bring your binocs to be able to see the 12 ring.
