Nickle
Just bought a Mathews heli M but still need to purchase a sight. Any advice on brands, technology and why?
Archerysniper
HHA optimizer elite is a awesome sight. Stay away from the g5 with the floater pins unless they have change since I last shot them.
huntnfish
The best I have found are the Montana Black Gold. I've got a 5 pin with the ascent mount and I would definitely get another one. The fiber is super bright and very solid.
Rippinlip
HHA Single Pin slider. Works great and it looks nice on the HeliM... I do alot af target shooting, 3D's and long distance shooting, so I wanted alot of adjustability. When hunting I pretty much leave it set to 27 yards and with the Helim I shoot I am good from 10-35 yards with only a couple of inches of variance. sticknstring
So many great sights available! I'd pick one that has tooless adjustment, wrapped fiber optic, protected pins, and accepts a light (if you do much blind hunting.) I'm a long time HHA user myself, but there are several other manufactures that have great sights I'd be proud to own. Determine how many pins you want, diameter, cost, etc and start your search. InTheNorthwoods
Sights are so subjective, its hard to choose based on opinions of posters. There are many great sight companies, and many different configurations, and options for wrapped pins, etc. Currently I am shooting a 7-pin SpotHogg that I custom selected pin size, color and configuration (and it accepts a variable power sight light that I occasionally use). I have no complaints. If I were buying today, I'd maybe look into the IQ sight(s). I like the concept and idea of eliminating torque and peep reliance. Otherwise, I like the SpotHogg. snapcrackpop
I love my IQ sight because I can shoot without a peep. Hate the peep!Without a peep installed I can shoot in any light and don't have to worry about peep rotation or a rubber band aimed at my eye. snoozebutton
I had a Montana Black Gold several years ago and the pins would strip out if I tightened them too much. If I didn't tighten them, the pin would eventually work loose. I called them and all they would tell me is not to tighten them too much. I ended up throwing it in the garbage and bought a Tru Glo and haven't looked back.
