Cigar temp change

I had an order of cigars arrive today and am curious of the best way to go about bringing them up to room temp and then into the humidor without cracking the wraps.

I just brought them in and put the box in the fridge, any recommendations on how long to leave in there and how to then go from fridge temp up to the humidor temp and 70% humidity?

FYI: Don't order stogies in January in Minnesota.....didn't think of the temp deal at the time.

i never had any issues when i got some in the winter left them in the fridge for a day or two then to the humidor

Your good after 2 days in the frig.

Regardless of the season, all mine go directly into the freezer for 4-5 days. I've both, put in the fridge for day or so, and let them come up to temp before putting them to bed in the humi.

Warm weather you have to worry about bugs! When I get mine in the warmer months they go into the freezer for a few days, then the frig for a few.

I should be more specific-beetles. Freezer for 3 days, frig for a day or two, then humidor.
