itchmesir
Nice rod. What line do you prefer for this rig? well it's a great small stream rod.. for those highly brushy streams with low canopies.. So of course I'm gonna use 50# PowerPro
Driftless
I love this rod ! Will be putting 8 or 10 pound power pro on these.I will have a Len's 2013 Trout Diary later in the year to show how they functioned.

So of course I'm gonna use 50# PowerPro Ich, let me know how that dora powerpro rig works out for you. My initial thoughts are it might be a bit bright/flashy. Do they make a Camo/GI Joe equivalent? Do you use any flurocarbon for a liter? How about any waits?

Dark Cloud
I really like the looks of the handles on some of the Elite Tech rods - the river runner and some of the smallmouth series have these... I build all my own rods but really like the looks of the 7'6" river runner in lite action, fast tip... Sounds perfect for pitching small jigs for eyes
ted4887
That is a slick looking handle DC. My newest rod has a bit of a unique handle as well.

I have seen some handles similar on some salmon rods for those that like to fight fish with a hand further up the blank...
