Glass Jigs?

Fish-n-Freak

Question

I thoought there was a string on these -- but, I couldn't find it?

Just bought another handful, and talked to the manufacture directly -- met him at Angler's Paradise on Hwy 10, dropping off another supply -- these jigs are really something! The glow last forever and the very light weight delivers a very natural presentation. They come in a bunch of colors. Green, yellow, Pink, Red, Purple and Orange in about 4 or 5 sizes.

Can't wait for the weekend!

F-n-F I found it on a forums searh of the Ice Fishing Main Fourm, but it comes up as can't be displayed.

Can you post who makes them and the product name? I'd like to know what to ask for at the tackle shop!

Thanks!

Yes... there was a post, but it "disappeared". I bought some from Vados in Spring Lake Park. Got home and did an un-scientific test on their glow capabilities. End result?
Versus ALL of my glow stuff (weell, one of each), these jigs blew them away. 1 hour after, there still was a noticeable glow from these things. Red seemed to fade the fastest, green glowed the brightest, and blue glowed the longest. Can't wait to try them out.

Hey fella's. I think the reason the thread gets hosed is because your advertising products that aren't forum sponsors. In all fairness to the people that support this thread, you can't be pointing people in other directions. Talk to this guy and have him help sponsor this site.

Labrat,
All they are called so far are "glass jigs", they are made by a couple of guys and they have been trying to get them into as many bait shops as they can. But at a price of $4.59 not all bait shops are willing to carry them.

I told the guy about this site, I hope he will contact Rick and set-up an add with the site or better yet add his product to the FishingMN store!

Currently I know they have them at Angler's Paradise, Vado's and Capra's.

The hubby was out in search of these jigs today. He bought a few and his brother practically cleaned out Anglers Paradise. They then went to Vados, they had them but were smaller. He then went to a store in St. Francis and found some there (I didn't get the name of the store). The guy at Anglers Paradise told the hubby that they would glow for an hour and a half. I can't wait to try them.

I tried the URL last weekend. They worked pretty good... but not good enough to justify $4.50!! But that was just one time using them... this weekend they will see some action on local lakes.
