OutdoorVariety
Curious to see where everyone is finding their ducks this year with the drought. We've been getting some nice limits on the Colorado River in Central Texas. Can't wait for the season to reopen. In the meantime, we've got some blind rehab to do. OutdoorVariety
Here is a photo of a four man limit of ducks from this past Saturday on the Colorado River in Central Texas southeast of Austin. We returned Sunday for another couple of limits. The ducks have been pretty good to us. Here we have a mess of gadwall, widgeon, and green winged teal. Plenty of video to come. muc33
Looks like a great hunt, just wondering why the odd looking fellow on the left has no ducks?
OutdoorVariety
Because somebody has to hold the video camera....
OutdoorVariety
Another two man limit of ducks here in Central Texas on Christmas Eve. Got a nice mallard drake, wood duck, red head, green winged teal, widgeons, some gadwalls, and a nice Christmas ham when a bunch of pigs ran across the river right as we were wrapping up. Yes, it's all on video. And yes, we killed the hog with a knife (after a little .270 chase.) A pure Outdoor Variety Combo Hunt!

OutdoorVariety
December 26, 2011: Shot another couple of limits of ducks this morning on the Colorado River here in Central Texas. Gadwall, widgeon, green winged teal, mallard hen, and a nice wood duck drake. We decided to let Salty Dogg have the glory this morning and pose with the birds that he fetched.
