THavas
I remember reading about being able to download Navionics I believe it was for Droid phones. Can anyone attach a link to this, or shed some light on it for me. I was looking at it on Navionics HSOforum and seen I can purchase it for $13.23 on smartphone market.Anybody have this or use it? Marcus Taplin
THavas,I have it, and I love it!! Best $13.23 I have spent so far this year! I just got back from the lakes had 4 inches of ice everywhere and it lead me right to the deep hole I wanted to go. I also have a Droid.Tap

panfishpounder00
you would have to check to see if your phone has that app. i havent heard of any blackberries using that app.
Marcus Taplin
The app is only for Droid, Ipad and Iphone. Here is the link to there site. Trust me it saved me $500, not having to buy a GPS and a Lake Chip.http://www.navionics.com/MobileMarineFeatures.asp?MobileType=Android
NEMPLSFisherMan
Anyone know if this app has the contours to Lake of the Woods? That will sure save me money from buying the chip for my gps.
MCRDP
Anyone know if this app has the contours to Lake of the Woods? That will sure save me money from buying the chip for my gps. It does. and one foot contours, if that helps :-)
quijibo
Make sure you get the Lakes maps, the Marine maps are just navigational aids.Don't bother with the Lakes West app if you're from Colorado, it only has 4 lakes and 50' contours. It's nothing like their chips, which kind of suck too.Adam
LipRipper!!
I have this app on my droid and love it...cannot wait to put it up against my lowrance with the lake master chip and see what is more accurate.!!
Sherpa
I have it on my Iphone and am only able to see contours very close to shore on LOTW. The rest of the lake is just white. Same with Upper Red.

servocam
I downloaded it a few weeks ago for my Droid2 and is well worth the ~$13. I wish it would zoom in more then 0.1 miles. I updated the app last week. Not sure on the changes.Update: Just took a video and uploading it now. Will post a link in a few mins (I forgot I left the cam in HD, so 50MB file). Latest update allows zoom further.
BrdHunter01
I have this app on my droid and love it...cannot wait to put it up against my lowrance with the lake master chip and see what is more accurate.!! Already done! The Lakemaster is 100 times more accurate than any navionics chip IMO but I'm sure it depends on the lake...
servocam
Simple video demo for you. I did not go in to all of the options.
servocam
Just had the app completely lock up and is now useless. It did this trying to enable map overlay. I will have to uninstall and reinstall. I sent a not to Navionics.
Luck e 1
So what r the downfalls? Why isnt everyone doing this?
ole matty
Love mine on iPhone. I can check out the lake I never had fished before and see the spot that jump out at me and memory the location and use it on my regular sonar/gps. It's pretty accurate. I like navionics better than lakemaster. JMO
servocam
I uninstalled and reinstalled the application and it still does not work. I emailed Navionics. Hope they can have a fix this week.
