riverrat56
So I think this may be the only solution to my current motor tilt/trim issue. Anyone have any experience with this system? Retails for about $600 so before I stick that kinda money into an older boat I'd like to hear from someone who's used it if there as good as talked about. Twin Cities Outboard had good things to say, but they also sell them so they wouldn't knock them. Anybody used one?
hydro
I've looked them over at the shows and they look like a well made product. They are made localy so that's definately a plus. I also know one of the design engineers of the product (we used to race hydroplanes together) and I can say that he knows what he is doing! Give them a try. riverrat56
Thanks for the reply Hydro, I'm liking every review I've read so far online as well.
mnviking28
Panther is a good brand name. Haven't used it personally either, but I know that a lot of the tournament guys use it and they wouldn't if it was junk. Too much on the line. If I decide to to it, I think that is the way I am going to go as well.
riverrat56
Thought I'd give everyone an update, just installed my Panther Tilt Trim a few days ago, haven't had it on the water yet, but it looks like a very solid unit and was very easy to install. Too much on the line.Pretty much every kicker motor that doesn't have tilt/trim on a tournament boat is mounted on a Panther lift. Should work just fine for ya.
