I have an 02 660 griz with a moose 60inch plow and a 2500 warn has done everything i wanted it to do with no problems. plow is a little heavier than others i looked at but still not heavy enough to back drag real effective unless you ad more weight. i would look into a 3000 pound winch if you are going to use it a ton the brake on them is a little better from what i hear but have had no issues with mine to date plow was put on in winter of 03 04.

I've heard good things about Venom winches but I've never owned one, always had Warns with not many issues of ALOT of use. The Venoms are alot cheaper. I've owned a Cycle Country plow, a polaris plow, American Eagle plow, and now a Moose plow. Had fairly good luck with the Cycle Country. Broke the American Eagle 8 times in 2 years (I plow alot, and don't baby my equipment) Broke the Moose right away on it's first years plowing, but had them reweld it and it's been good since. The polaris plow didn't get used much as the polaris wheeler was always in the shop!

I have a Kodiak 450, bought a plow from the Yamaha dealer a couple years ago, have a Warn 2500lb winch. I've really beat the snot out of it and it has held up well (no issues). If you plan on plowing on the ice you will need chains for sure too.
