chart1444
With the ever expanding of Devils Lake, what is the best way to get around with a boat?I understand that you have to put up with stumps, fences, old machinery etc. when going on the lake.Is there an area of the lake that is more safe to navigate than others? How is fishing near the Casino? Thanks for any info
Guest
Dear Friend,Actually much of the lake is readily accessible due to the ongoing efforts to keep ramps open and improved as the shoreline changes. Lake levels have actually been fairly stable the last two years so most stick ups a brush have decayed some and sunk under water. Most submerged hazards are deep enough to be safe for driving over with any boat but caution is always prudent especillay during low light. We have a good access ramp right at our doorstep with good fishing grounds within a few hundred yards or you can zoom out and explore more than 100,000 acres. Locally updated maps are available on premisis. Going out with an experienced friend or one of our guides is well worth it for your first time here. We're always learning and exchanging views. Thanks for the questions, Steve Chase the vagrant viking
