Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

NFL Redzone?

Recommended Posts

Anyone have this on there TV? IS it worth the money? Do they show every redzone in real time or is there a big delay? I usually just watch the Yahoo Gamechannel on my computer, but would be better if it was on the TV.

One word: AWESOME!

If you're a football junky or have interest in a fantasy football league this is a must have. Most of the time I'm watching this channel rather than the broadcast games due to the fact that you see all the action from all the games.

Don't let the name fool you, they show more than just the red zone plays. What they do is flip around the league and show the games that have the most action happening. The team with the football could be at their own 30 yard line and they'll show it....not just when a team is in the red zone. When I heard about this I also thought that they would just show replays of red zone action or the scores but that isn't the case at all, and most of the time it's live action or a replay shortly after something happened. You never miss a score.

Another great thing is that there are no commercials whatsoever. Zip, zilch, nada. There is an in-studio announcer that they show once in a while that will briefly bring you up to speed on what is going on in a certain game and then they'll go to the game to see how it plays out.

What they show is the actual broadcast from CBS or FOX with the announcers doing those games. So instead of being held captive to the Vikings game, you'll see what everyone across the country is seeing on FOX and CBS. There is no bottom ticker added by the NFLN.....just whatever is being shown by FOX or CBS. It's like you're watching a game sitting in NY, Miami, Dallas, Denver, Seattle, etc.

So to answer the question if it's worth the money, yes. I have Dish Network and I had to add the multi-sports package which gives me not only the Red Zone Channel in HD, but also all the regional sports networks (the national Fox Sports channels) so I can watch a ton of college football on Saturdays too if I wish.

It's the best channel ever!

Thanks for the reply LMITOUT. I am a big football junkie and I am in 3 Fantasy Leagues, so I guess this would be a great thing to have to watch scoring around the league. Plus, they games on TV the past couple of weekends have been so DUMB! Who want's to watch the Jets against the Raiders. Come on now!!! And this weekend looks like a bunch of [PoorWordUsage] too. Cleveland and the Bears. So I guess I will be ordering the Redzone this weekend! Again, thanks for the info!

No problem.

Just so you know, there is nothing broadcast on this channel the rest of the week.......only between the hours of noon and 7pm on Sundays.

I have been getting the Red Zone free viewing and I find myself stuck on this channel for most of Sunday. Once they take it away from me I will be looking into getting this channel added!!! Fun to watch games out of your viewing area.

Yes you can order it for comcast. That's what I have. I already ordered and I can't wait for Sunday to arrive.

Just gotta call them and add it to your cable. It's like $7.99 a month.

    •   Member of ADVRider. Rode with lots of guys on there. I just put out a feeler on here once in a while.
    • You ever check out www.thumpertalk.com Lots of guys in your area.
    • I think that summer one is in the regs, 75 feet as I recall.
    • I am no expert either but putting my trust in the builder. Talking to him, there will only be enough lumber to screw the sheetrock to. There will be no 16" on center studwalls. He has done several like this with no problems. The "Gurts" are attached to the poles and you could saw the poles off at the bottom and move the whole building.
    • Like Leech said, it appears that a grant in aid trail is running through your area. I would urge you to contact the club president or another representative and try to work out a solution. They may be able to even re-route the trail to avoid your driveway but you will not know unless you engage in a civil discussion with a representative of the club. Just let them know you have concerns and see if an agreement can be had.    I would be surprised if the club doesn't have a landowners event every fall that you could attend and talk to club members as well to keep reminding them each year of your concerns.
    • Forgot this was a day game, missed it but happy we got the two points. We have been holding our spots and even have some games in hand on some other teams. If we can just keep this pace up we are in, but here is hoping we get hot towards the end of the year. Would be nice for a change.
    • Nice win this afternoon on the road...things are getting interesting....need others to keep stumbling and we may not have to worry about a Wild Card.
    • That's the problem in restrictor plate races--stay on the gas and hit the car in front or lift and be hit from behind.
    • No doubt!   We didn’t have to wonder if there was actual contact though after Dillon said he had a run and just stayed in the gas.   Is what it is.  And that’s the difference I noticed.
    • So no sill plate for the walls on the perimeter then.  OK.     Again, not an expert so whatever your guys say and you’re comfortable with... I don’t know all your construction details. I - sandy County Is just that; sandy.  So it’s not too tough to get a good base.   My experience, as it relates to this, has just been based on building a 36x48 wood framed garage in Isanti County.  8 inch block on the perimeter to support 12 foot sidewalls of 2x6 construction.  My buddy that sold me the lumber said the project was only 200 feet short on interior walls from being a house.  After adding in the attic square footage it had more than my house.  Going with a pole building frame is the game changer.   Again, best of luck. It would be interesting to me to see the completed project.
