carpmanjake Posted September 19, 2009 Share Posted September 19, 2009 depends on the size.... if i found a place with quality small mouth over 3lbs, then small mouth. most of the areas i fish that have smallies have some nice ones (orwell, and in fergus) but there are so many small ones around and the big ones are hard to find. but sometimes i do get them. i was crossing under a bridge in fergus this summer and there but i have alot better chances going for largemouth.other factors go into the equation too... like what other species are in the area.
