Sax Sandhills

I think this may be the only pair of cranes that nests in the Sax-Zim bog. I have seen them a few times this summer but never close enough for a picture.

Seems like Junior has outgrown his parent's. I've seen pictures of the young just hatched out, and it's amazing how fast they grow. You got some nice shots there!

You caught these guys in some very nice light. The one day I caught then it was so gray the shots looked bad.
