How to adjust the steering wheel

3 posts in this topic

2003 Chev Silverado 1500 4x4. I am replacing the shock, Fuel pressure reg. and noticed the steering wheel when driving straight does not align straight it's turned to the left about 1/8 turn. Guessing from when the dealer replace the pump etc. So I was thinking if not to hard I might try to readjust?

Take it in and get it aligned. I wouldn't try to do it yourself. You could do more harm then good.

Yup, have it aligned. The only way to center the wheel is to adjust toe. The only way to accurately adjust toe is on the rack.
