Can I charge my laptop in my truck???

Recommended Posts

There are also some issues on the smaller inverters where the connection/wiring won't allow enough DC current to really power the thing up. I just looked at my laptop power converter and it is rated to draw 65 watts, in theory a 90 watt should do fine for one like mine, but not all power supplies are created equal. And there may be an issue where the inverter doesn't actually supply the wattage it is rated to or it could be that the rated wattage may only be in a burst rate and not sustained. Read the fine print and make sure.
