Dude could flat out play and that whole guitar company thing he started was pretty smokin awesome to boot.

A true innovator, especially when it came to recording.

I love he and Mary Ford on How High the Moon.

He lived a full life and will be missed dearly, almost single handedly started the whole electric guitar movement and was a recording pioneer

I've got a Les Paul Custom signed by the man himself in Cherrywood sunburst, I think its time to play a little tonight!

Even though I am a Fender guy, and own a left handed Strat- I echo everything you guys have said. He could play the guitar and the Les Paul is an icon- just like he is. RIP Les
