Mid-Lake Rock
I found this story interesting because I had a similar experience two years ago. I was at Lake Vermilion and I watched an eagle swoop down and pick up a large whitefish - probably 25". The eagle was flying with the fish and I could see it was a struggle. The eagle then dropped it very close to my boat. The eagle was probably 50 feet or higher in the air and it made a large splash. The joys of nature. Jim Uran
My brother was on the way to work last year and an Eagle dropped a bullhead on his hood as he was at an intersection!!!! I had a hard time believing him, and sure wasn't going to repeat his story so nobody would question our sanity.
Mudcatman
Must have been a big sheepie for sure! I do autoglass for a living and it takes quite a "wack" to smash a windshield.Too bad that didnt happen here. I would have loved to replaced that one.....
