Wheelhouse manufacturers

6 posts in this topic

Besides the commercial wheelhouse builders like Ice Castle, The Lodge, King Crow, Road King, Sportsmans, are there any others??

Maybe good reliable private builders also??

I am looking for an 8 x 16 with rear double swing doors. More plain than fancy. Getting dizzy looking on the confusing internet.

Check out the Shack Rack brand. They look very impressive, one of a kind frame and steel studs.

There is a recent thread about them "finally starting my 09 fish house project"

His is a 12', but they make larger tandem axles as well.

My son has a Performance Engineering house, they were great to work with and make alot of custom changes at no cost. My brother has an Ultra Shack and likes it, I have an Ice Castle that I am very happy with. Mine has vinyl siding that gets brittle when it's real cold, I would add a stone shield if you go with vinyl. I do not have double doors, but the other 2 do. I will say that the double doors are nice to haul a wheeler but they do a poor job as far as keeping the cold out. There will be ice build up if you don't run a fan to keep the air moving. Just my 2 cents.

    • Looking for a Wild win tonight, I don't think Kemper is going to get the start in this important game. I don't think anyone likes the five day layoff. Typical got to mess with something that works instead of just playing. Wild will come out of the break with a lot of games to play and little time off to rest anyone.
    • Next up Grow Lights, I have a south facing window in my den that I use to start plants with. I have a big shelf at window height then I use glass blocks and put steel closet racks on top to set my plants on. I can stack about three levels high. Above all of this I have a three bulb flood light fixture This year I went out and bought three 15 watt grow lights. I had to buy some socket extenders so the grow lights would screw into the floodlight sockets. Tried them out last night and they are pretty dang bright. I am going to have them on during cloudy days and in the evening to see if they help promote growth. Any day now I should have some tobacco coming up and I will see if the lights help speed up their growth.

    • I think the Wild vs Jets games are pretty awesome atmosphere-wise. They have a lot of fans that travel down here for games too. It would appear to be a fun place to watch a game in Winnipeg for sure!

    • Have heard that's a fun arena to catch a game at.
    •     Actually I haven't advocated anything. Just pointing out the War on Drugs hasn't been a success along with skepticism that anyone can "win" it   I'll leave the debate of legalization and the pros and cons of doing such to others
    • The problem of prescription abuse has been recognized on a national level, but it must not fit the agenda, since there was no funding appropriated to go with the legislation.         On the national level, Congress this year passed the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act(CARA), which increased to 275 the maximum number of patients for whom a physician can provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid dependence. In a provision aimed at controlling usage and reducing diversion, the law allows prescribers or patients to request partial prescription refills and then opt to have the remainder filled within 30 days.
