Pre-dawn & Sunset

10 posts in this topic

A couple of days ago the Red River was shrouded in mottled layers of fog. I spotted this commercial bait trawler heading my direction as it appeared out of the fog so I decided to fire off a few frames. Here's the results.

Although this hasn't been the most productive season for sunrises & sunsets we still manage to pull a few out from time to time. Once again the setting is along the eastern shores of Lake Winnipeg's south basin.

I spend more time in this region than any other simply because there's so much to see and capture throught the lens!

Just beautiful, Stu! You are capturing some great sunrise and sunsets, despite the unusual weather this summer.

I really like that first shot, a mysterious look.

Both images have a very nice mood to them. I love the look of all the gear hanging out of the boat in the first image. Great use of the tree to frame the scene in the second image.
