scoutWBL
I just started fishing cats... I went on the Croix in the Franconia area with a friend and managed a 2 fish (and two turtles) in our first outing. I have seen a lot of info on the Minnesota and the 'ssippi but not much about the Croix. I live in the E. Metro so the Croix is close should I stick with the Croix or make the drive across town?Any tips would be great... All the info on here is awesome. Thanks. Mudcatman
You are in good catfish country on the Croix. All three rivers are excellent rivers for both channel and flathead catfish. Maybe next time out just tweek your presentation a bit, you know bring an assortment of different baits, maybe move and try a few spots. Remember, fresh cut suckers are hard to beat, just change your bait out every half hour or so for best results...
