I had the unfortunate experience of losing a downrigger to the depths of Lake Superior last Monday. Some how the downrigger dislodged from the base and fell over board while motoring to port. I believe the downrigger had to of broken, either the locking tab or a side to have fallen off since I had just finished fishing with them and I didn't notice anything goofy.

Anyways, on Tuesday I called Cannon to see if they would help me out. Well, they said to fax them a copy of my proof of purchase and they would see what they could do. Lucky, I had saved this receipt and faxed it to them on Thursday. They called me Friday to say that they were reviewing my claim but didn't say more than that. Well, today a brand new downrigger showed up on my door step. Now is that customer service or what?! I was without my 4th rigger for a short time thanks to the great people at Cannon.

Thanks again to Cannon and Johnson Outdoors. Great products and great people. I will be a customer for life!

That's been my experiences with them as well with my MinnKota. I'm lucky to have them in town and I've brought my MinnKota in several times and have yet to be chargerd with anything yet. Awesome customer service!!
