It's all about the weather. If you want to avoid crowds, then come when (if) it's chilly and/or rainy and/or threatening. That said, Friday mornings tend to be a good time....but it can be crowded then too.

As far as "what day is best" pretty much everyday is a good one. They work to make sure that everyday is chock full of things to do and see.

I've been told there are little changes now that most of the calling comps will be the 2nd weekend of Game Fair...the first weekend will have women, youngsters and 2 man goose/duck comps. So if you wanted to watch the comps, go the 2nd weekend on Saturday.

Go any day, they're all good...for me it would be Saturday because of calling comps. I'll be there with the Death Row Calls guys.

The calling contest is sponsored by the MN Duck and Goose Callers Association n conjunction with Game Fair. If you don’t want to call, don’t forget to bring your call to have it tuned at the MN Duck and Goose Callers Association booth!

North Star Novice Duck & Goose 10:00 a.m.

North Star Regional Duck (Sanctioned) 1:00 p.m.

North Star Regional Goose (Sanctioned) 3:00 p.m.

* Sun. Aug 16

Minnesota State Duck (Sanctioned) 10:00 a.m.

Minnesota State Goose (Sanctioned) 12:00 p.m.
