Absolutely unbelievable

I realize that the media, especially MSNBC,[Olberman] was,and still is very critical of GWB. He got alot of bad press and jabs at the media's expense-alot of it frivilous. Not cool.

There is a human among us that has rocketed so far beyond what is considered normal critisism that it has evolved into a full fledged infatuation with another human being.

Ever heard of Sean Hannity?

This man's daily attempt at devastation of Obama is so unreal it almost cannot be believed. Since Obama became the nominee, right up until today, every single solitary second of his radio show is aimed at nothing else except smearing Obama from any possible angle or trajectory-and when I say every second-I mean EVERY second. From advancing terrorist theories, fake birth certificates, being a Muslim leader of a shadow terror group, etc, etc, there has been no let up. Doubtful? I challenge you to listen to the 1st 15 minutes of his show tomorrow-then turn off the radio and later in the day at any random time turn it on again and see what he's talking about.

And yes, like I said,Olberman dissed GW on his show about every night too-but he didn't devote every single second to it.

Hannity does the same with his TV show. On thursday night he's going to broadcast a show about the horrors of "Obama's universal health care" depicting horror stories from countries with univ. health care. I'm quite sure that he won't be airing any stories about the horrors here in the US when dealing with private insurers!

What's really ironic is that Hannity-like Limbaugh, tries to come off as "one of us" a real "workin man" as he paints Obama as some sort of elitist. Are you kidding me? Hannity makes more money than Obama will ever see in his lifetime! 20 million a year to be exact-ya,that's a standard workin man's income. crazy He even made fun of Obama for putting Dijon mustard on his hot dog in an attempt to paint him as an elitist-is that normal? no,it's not-he's a KOOK.

This spring on his show he would daily insist that Obama "Must be stopped-and stopped hard" ????? Meaning???? Assasinated?

I listen to all types of radio shows-left and right, but this person is a KOOK of the rarest form.

He repeats the same talking points every single day, over, and over, and over, and over, and over again. Isn't that the definition of insanity?

Limbaugh sometimes has a rare instance when he flashes back to the early 90's and shows what got him here-making things interesting and making you think-not this other nut, from the minute his mic is on until he shuts down it is pure hate for another human-plain and simple. Some will say "he's just passionate about his country" Ya,whatever-he's a nut.

His listeners that call in sound just as rabid-"we want our country back!" "he's a socialist!" "Marxism!" "He prays on a flying carpet!"

These are the people you see at a T-ball game for 3 year olds,up in the face of the umpire, swearing and spitting on the ump's face because he called their little Timmy out at home plate-real freakazoids.

I can see 2 sides disagreeing-"we don't like this" "well,we don't like that!" and critisism of our leaders is expected, and often deserved, and yes,I think Obama is making his share of mistakes that he will pay for,but to devote every single minute of your 4 hour broadcast day ripping, peeling, clubbing, poking, jabbing, and kicking the teeth in of the President of the United States in front of millions of people? Good for America? A great American? Not hardly.

What say you? grin

That's a loaded question. I agree with most of what hannity has to say, yes. Do I agree with how he (and especially Rush) deliver their message? No, I think it does more harm than good. I am however a big fan of Jason Lewis. Another conservative talk radio host, but he tries his best not to just smear people (Obama) and instead discusses the policies that he disagrees with him on and describes why he disagrees with him in an intelligent way, not just a smear campaign

The funny thing is O'Reilly takes all the heat when he is actually pretty fair in my opinion. I'm not a fan of Hannity either. Most people in this country would probably consider themsevles to be moderate - yet there are very few moderate people in today's media- just nutjobs to the left and right.

That would be refreshing-I wish we could get that show around here.

Some of those guys are so far out on a limb now that there's no turning back. They had better pray long and hard that Obama's policies do not work-otherwise their party may be finished forever.

Dozens and dozens of times I've written off drivers, boxers, ball teams,Olypians,shooters,pets-you name it,only to have them turn it around and pull it out in the end. Time, and ONLY time will tell.

I often watch Bill-O. I think he's the fairest of the bunch and he can be truly funny at times. [He always has blonde hotties kickin it with him on his show too. grin]

I myself lean towards the conservative viewpoint of things and would agree with you for the most part that he is way over the top. However so is the other side which includes all of the major news networks. They have a major daily obsession in treating the guy like he can do no wrong. What it comes down to is the powers that be have things exactly the way they want them. The country divided directly down the middle with the population actually believing it is Democrat vs. Republican. In the mean time you have these guys making millions of dollars off of the ignorance of a blind society that desperately wants to believe we actually live in a demacracy and still have a voice in what happens in this country. Wake up folks, both sides are in bed with eachother and I for one will not be fooled........

Exactly why when someone asks me what party I call myself, I quickly reply "none of the above"

Limbaugh and Hannity disgust me. They would not criticize Bush for doing the same stuff that Obama is doing now.

What makes me the most disgusted is MN electing a radio talk show host to the US Senate

The only cable news channel I get is MSNBC and I lean towards the left so I have watched my share of Olbermann. During the run up for the election I had to quit watching it because it stunk so bad. Playing down (and rightly so) things like the lipstick on a pig but making a huge deal about bomb bomb bomb iran. Talking about it incessently like it matters and like I could give a flying squirrel about it. That talk radio and cable news stuff is tripe. It's good for things like plane crashes and MJ's death coverage but that's it.

And don't even get me started on Olbermann's pompous butt "special comment" --- YOU SIR! --- it was literally enough to make a true to life bush hater throw up in his mouth a bit.

I can't handle watching or listening to any of the partisan pointless bull.

I agree. And I don't support Obama's Socialist policies.

I to agree with a lot of what Hannity says. Does he go over the top, absolutely. I don't agree with how they put their message across all the time but for the most part I agree with the message they are sending.

What's funny to me is for the last eight years we heard of lot of anti-Bush folks in the media. The media only showed his negatives (unlike their love-afair with Obama). If anyone said 1/8th the negativity about the Messiah that they did about Bush there would be outrage in the streets. Suck it up, that's how the media is now (see thread on what has changed). It's all about bashing the other party and name calling (see Messiah) now days. But the funny thing for me is when it wasn't "your guy" in there it was fine to bash away.

I cannot stand to even watch those channels as they are only busy bashing another.

No point to even broadcast those shows.

Lol,no,I'd have to support his sponsors-which ain't gonna happen.

It should be called "Hypocrized" after what he did awhile back! He had some woman on the phone and he was railing about Paris Hilton,Britney, and other teeny boppers, and how they were a bunch of spoiled brats who never had to work for anything and had everything handed to them on a silver platter. Two weeks passed and he was celebrating the fact that his son had turned 7 years old and "Dad" got him what he always wanted: a $2500 Mac Book Pro laptop computer, and a ton of games for it!-he even stated it was the "$2500 model"

Oh yes,I'm quite sure his boy really sweated out the labor for that. crazy

I don't even have CNN or Fox programmed into my tuner, it's sorta sad that I have to rely on the BBC to get some unbiased news reports. Like I told my father-in-law (who has the Fox ticker image permanently burned into his TV screen), just lay out the facts, I can figure out the rest.

Pretty modest for for a man that makes 20 mill a year.

I did watch once and I noticed a ton of the commercials during his show were for Cialis and Viagra. What does that tell you? Gives you a pretty good picture of the demographics they are targeting.

He is a freak. Plain and simple. The guy is incapable of saying anything nice and seeing both sides. He lives in a world full one one way streets.

That's not a bad price for what he got. We buy better than average laptops at the hospital I work at and they are around 2 grand or more. For what he makes, that's like us buying an mp3 player or handheld game system for our kids. Not to mention I don't see what that has to do with anything.

You must listen regularly to keep up on it this much. Or do you just get your info off of some hate Hannity/Palin/Rush HSOforum? If you do and bring it here, you are practicing the same thing they are - in my opinion.

I would put Olberman in the same catagory.
