Fried starter

6 posts in this topic

The starter fried on my 12.5hp B&S 40" Murray riding lawnmower.

Does anyone know of a reputable repair shop in the NE Metro??

Thanks,

Mike

Thx Tom,

I pulled the old starter off and now I need to get a new one.

Does anyone know where I can just buy the starter?

I can get them on-line but I would rather buy local.

Thx,

Mike

same places, or you could see if it can be repaired by going to a starter shop - if there still are such places. Lots of times it just needs brushes or a solenoid
