jeffreyd
Not sure about mn but if there was not extended or implied warranty I think it is yours. It would not hurt to call them, to find out if they will help you out.
caseymcq
Check this out, it is from the MN Attorney General:http://www.ag.state.mn.us/Consumer/Cars/MNCarlaws/Default.aspYou may not be covered. Was the car sold "As Is"? If so you may, unfortunately, be out of luck on this one. Sorry for your car trouble.

pinkfloyd4ever
Not a expert on it, but I think it would be tough to win the lemon law on a used car. Better if there was some sort of 5 day/500 mile warranty.
Jeremy airjer W
HMMM, a GM car with a 3.1 liter maybe? If the intake gaskets start to leak internally the coolant gets in the oil. If there was any coolant contamination in the oil prier to your purchase the engine was already doomed before you purchased it.
pascooter94
the dealer is going to replace the motor i just have to pay for the install, i told him to make sure that the intake is good before they put it in,and they will give me a two year warenty. Whoaru99
wow thats not that bad of a deal then. Depends on what they charge for the install. If they can pick up a cheap boneyard engine, you might be paying for the whole thing anyway through install charges. It would be wise to ask about the engine being installed, IMO, such as miles on it, from same vehicle, year, etc.

Gadgetman
If you have the intake gasket replaced how much life would you expect to get out of the replacement? I have just had this done on my daughters car and dont want her to have any trouble while away at school. Other wise the '95 Buick seems to run well and never had a problem starting outside with no plug in last winter
Jeremy airjer W
Typically you can expect to replace them every 40,000 to 80,000 miles (If we are talking 3.1 liters).Don't be surprised if the timing cover starts to leak coolant with higher mileage as well. Usually after the 100k mark.
IFallsRon
Good call on the oil pan gasket. I'd go with a new timing belt and water pump, too.
