Nice, Stu. I like the maestro pelican and the waxwing is great, but the female goldie is one of those truly special ones. What a pretty little girl!

Were the pelican photos taken at the out flow at Big Stone Lake? Looks familiar. Also like the male pelican photo with the horn growth on the upper mandible.

Thanks all! Besides offering up the some of the wildest sport fishing action on the planet, Lockport, Manitoba is also a MECCA for a multitude of bird species with pelicans being one such specie. On any given day there are many hundreds of white pelicans foraging below the dam and along the bank of the Red River. They are present from early spring through much of September.
