Leech Lake Ice Fishing

I need some advice for fishing and lodging on Leech Lake. A group of co-workers and I have done an annual ice trip to Red Lake for the last 4 years. We have always had a great time and have no real complaints. But we would like to try Leech Lake this year. We live in St Cloud and would like to be a bit closer to home and would enjoy the amenities of the Walker area.

We would like to go during the last week in Jan or first week in Feb. We always go mid-week to help avoid the crowds and it's easier for us all to get time off (we work in a county jail and work a variety of hours). We usually have a group ranging from 6 - 10 people. We like to have a cabin off the ice as base camp and ice houses that we can fish into the night or early morning(don't need to be sleeper houses). We usually go for 2 nights and 3 days. We also like to bring a snowmobile and a couple of portables incase the weather is nice.

Does anyone have any suggestions on who to rent a cabin from that would accomadate a group of 10 with all our gear that is close to where the fishing is? Don't want to drive too far after a long day of fishing.

Also any suggestions on outfits that rent ice houses (would rather not fish more that 3 to a house)?

We are not very needy and bring everything that is needed. The houses don't need to be high-end but we are not apposed to a few amenities.

Any feedback would be great.
