Dark Cloud
Not exactly rod building or tackle craft but I figured you "crafty" people would enjoy this... A few years ago I made an antler handled knife - heres the link: http://www.fishingminnesota.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1010652/Latest_project#Post1010652 Anyways I made something out of the other half of the rack tonight... Yep, a custom antler handled bottle opener! $1.50 at the store for the "cheap" 3 in 1 tool and the rack from a buck my dad killed with the bow in 1971... A little brains and brawn, and i ended up with this Hack-sawed the antler from the skull and cut to length. Then dremel tooled the end to fit the opener... Some 2-part epoxy and she's done. One of a kind and original. I'll be makeing some more of these as they'll make neat gifts...
