Clearwater/Pipestone fishing?

Recommended Posts

Looking at possibly heading to a friend's cabin this weekend for some walleye and musky fishing. Any reports on the walleye or musky bite on Clearwater? Might possibly head to Pipestone also, I'll have a firt-time musky fisherwoman in the boat and would really like to see her tangle with a toothy one.

Also, anywhere I can get a somewhat decent map of the lake?

Thanks for any info!

I haven't heard of alot of Muskie action yet, a few , but nothing to hot yet. The walleyee fishing has been pretty good on Clearwater on the North end of the lake. The south portage lakes have been doing good numbers of eyes, but smaller ones. Which cabin your buddies on Clearwater?
