shooting carp at night?

Hi new to the site. I was wondering went out to alittle lake the other evening and stayed till dark. after dark carp were just as spooked as during the day. Any hints or tips would be helpfull. thanks

Take your time and try and eliminate as much vibration from the boat that you can. Typically you can go slowly along and if you see one swimming ahead of you, you can speed up to it and get a shot. Thats about the only advice I can give you.

We keep the generator in the back of the boat and shoot from the front.
