Iowa Black Bear

2 posts in this topic

The black bear that roamed through NE Iowa in June, being photographed numerous times, has settled in around Baraboo, Wisconsin. http://www.twincities.com/outdoors/ci_12730819

The bear crossed the Mississippi from Iowa to Illinois, and moved north from there. Wildlife officials were able to follow the bear as it moved through Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. It is believed the male bear was looking for a mate, and settled near Baraboo where there are other black bears.
