I was suprised to see no one talk about this yet, who has seen it and how good was it????

Haven't seen it, nor will I anytime soon.

The first movie blew so hard I had a hard time even sitting through it.

The only hope the second movie has is to take out any and all dialogue. The only sounds should be explosions and the only non robot fighting scenes should be Megan Fox bent over the hood of a late 70's Camaro.

If you take it for what it is and want to be entertained for a couple hours its good.

If your looking for more than you will probably be disapointed.

If you like the first one then you will probably like this one and vice versa.

Wow the first one blew that hard? I thought the first one was pretty darn good. And I have heard only good things about the second as well. Can I ask why you would take out the dialogue? I would think it would be a very boring movie with no talking. I guess it's just be me, but growing up with Transformers and then seeing it in live action, was beyond amazing for me.

I'm with ya born, I thought the first one was decent. Not great, but decent. It could have had more Robot action for me, but I still liked it. Don't know if I'll pay the $50 to see it in a theatre though.

And from what I understand, part 2 has double to triple the robots. And I am with ya on not spending 50 bucks to watch it in theaters. Ill spend 20 when it comes to dvd.

Don't waste your money on the big screen. Wait for the DVD. Great show but not worth the money. Best seen in the movie was at the end with Megan Fox runing towards the camera. Nice grin

I just saw it this past weekend. I didn't like it. The last battle was not epic at all, no character development, too long, most of the robots kind of look the same. The new Decepticon "The Fallen" wasn't designed very well.

I grew up on Transformers as a kid and Michael Bay has ruined them. Michael Bay sucks. I hope part 3 can get a new director.

I think had James Cameron or JJ Abrams been director they would be a lot better, or even Steven Speilberg.

other than the not at all needed 30 second slow motion scenes of megan fox running wink..it wasnt good. a few scenes had no absolute value to the movie other than showing megan fox, and i wasnt complaining

I agree- The movie was too long. Lots of special effects and sound but overall not that good. Lots of eye candy though! smirk some good humor as well.

I would take it out because it literally makes the theater smell like dog carp. Seriously, listen to the dialog between OP and the LaBeef kid. Most playstation one video games have better dialogue.

Face it that movie was made for 10-14 year old boys and they threw MF in there so dads could choke it down for two hours with their boys.

Don't get me wrong, I am not some snobby movie buff that only watches independent films blah blah blah. I loves me some die hard or some cheesy arnold movie. But transformers flat out stunk.

I guess it's just me, but growing up with transformers and then seeing it in live action, was beyond appalling for me.

I brought the kid to it on Saturday night and thought it was pretty good, it's pretty much like the first one.

I saw it on Wednesday last week and wasn't impressed. For one, 2+ hours is too long for this type of film. There wasn't a break in the action at all, it was overdone in my opinion. Megan Fox...mehhh. It was very hard to follow certain fight scenes as a couple of the autobots were grey/silver just like the deceptacons, couldn't tell who was who. All in all, I was not impressed. I can not recommend the movie.

Looking forward to seeing Public Enemies tomorrow evening though.

Wow. I am sure it would be nice if all the robots were different colors(I for one would love to see Optimus Prime in a nice Firetiger outfit with matching leg guards...jk!). But come on now they are robots! And you may have grown up watching Transformers, but if you didn't get goosebumps with the first movie, the second wouldn't do it for you I am sure. I collected Transformers(my godson still has all of them in a safe place), so I was into it a little more than the average bear. Heck I was Optimus Prime for 3 straight years for Halloween!! To everyone their own, but I am a Transformers fan through and through. And please people, NO SPOILERS!!!!! Public Enemies looks really good. I am also looking forward to it!

    • We live in some sort of Bizarro world now - Sarah Palin calling Trump sinfully stupid.     Here's another one from Ann Coulter, who literally wrote a book "In Trump We Trust"
    • You do realize that if the taxes were done that way, the cities would get $2.53 billion richer, and rural areas would get $2.53 billion poorer. The 7 county metro pays substantially more taxes (nearly 2/3 of the states total) than the other 80 counties in Minnesota combined, but only receives roughly half of the state expenditures.   Sorry to break it to you, but rural America is not fiscally solvent. Those citiots you speak of are bankrolling the entire country. It's easy to see on this chart: more urban states are to the left (givers) and more rural states are to the right (takers).
    • I tried to purchase the screws yetti uses from Fastenal who is their vendor for the screws. They are only sold in large reels designed for a self loading screwgun. I finally called Casey at Glacial lake docks where I purchased my yetti and he sent me out the amount I needed. They work great to add additional fir strips. The plastic used to tie them together comes right off as you screw them in. Hope that helps.
    • Sorry...was wrong on the specs.   Manufacturer is Core Ice.  It was 1450# for a 12' and 1250# for a 8'.
    • I believe you want to use a zinc coated or galvanized steel according to the charts.  I'm sure someone will come along to correct me
    • In the back room there is a company that is using bonded foam panels (similar to garage door panels, but really clean looking), and had weights of 1250# for a 12' and 1450# for a 16'.  Aluminum trailer frames that could convert to a skid frame.  Can't recall the name.  I'm sure they were spendy, but I can see a concept like that going somewhere for the hardcore fishing crowd.   Yetti, Firebrand, Big Bite, and Glacier all had really nice display models.      Lots of campers (disguised as fish houses) out there at prices that make me want to jump into the business.  I was in two different manufacturers houses with prices well over $30k that had wire nuts for connections.  That is going to be a fun adventure for someone 2-3 years down the road when they find out their manufacturer saved $15 on their wiring.
    • Thank you for all the help!  Ended up going with the Marcum VS485C.  After some research, there were a few other Marcums that were on the list (825 & 625), the Aqua Vu HD, and the Pan Cam.  The mini cams from all manufactures weren't what I was looking for, but they are cool and do have their place.     After seeing everything in person, I think the Aqua Vu HD had the best camera/screen.  The Marcums were a little bit behind, but the 825, 625, 485, and Pan Cam had similar real life clarity.  The 485 won out because of the $300 price point vs the others at $450-700, and was almost identical for resolution, other than the HD.
I honestly think these cameras are all about 5+ years behind in technology in comparison to the broader camera/tv screen market.  Running off a 7-9ah battery is probably one of the limiting factors.  Another may be the cold.  The main reason (IMO) is that the manufacturers are hoping they can incrementally rape us by trickling out technology each year, similar to the computer manufacturers of the 90s/early 2000's.  For the price of a middle of the road underwater camera, I can buy a Chinese made 50" TV (these all have Chinese made 5-8" screens) and a GoPro or Sony Action Cam (which is 10x's the picture quality).
    • Any newcomers in the wheelhouse business at the Ice show in St. Paul?
