just wondering if anyone else is having a problem with the 80 pound stealth. i respooled 2 reels this year and am having fraying isues and finding weak spots in the line. first time I've used the 80 normally run the 100 and have had no issues. Did iI just get a bad batch or is this the norm with the 80

griz - I ran 80 stealth on two setups last year with no problems. Almost lost a dawg, but that was a chipped eyelet on the rod. Must be that spool i would guess.

I have it on two setups and I've had good luck so far. I spooled one rig up with Cortland Masterbraid though and think that as I need to re-spool I'll switch everything to that.

IMO that's the standard problem with 80# - no margin for error there like you have with the 100#
